Pannu with her new production house aims to empower new talent who do not come from a film background just like her. With this, Pannu joins the list of actresses who have stepped foot in the world of production.

Here’s a list of nine Bollywood leading ladies who’ve started their own production houses-
In a recent Instagram post, Taapsee announced her new venture, Outsiders Films in collaboration with Pranjal Khandhdiya, a producer famous for films like Piku, Super 30 and many more. She also announced Blur, the first project under Outsiders Films. Directed by Ajal Bahl, Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah will be seen in the main roles.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Priyanka Chopra Jonas with her mother, Madhu Chopra launched Purple Pebble Pictures in 2015. With bases in Mumbai and Los Angeles, the production house is known for some Hindi and regional language films. The most popular of these being The Sky is Pink and the Oscar nominated, The White Tiger.
Clean Slate Filmz was started by Anushka Sharma and her brother, Karnesh Sharma in 2013. The production house gained immense popularity with the critically acclaimed show, Pataal Lok which was also one of the most popular OTT shows of 2020. Clean Slate Filmz also has projects like the popular Netflix horror movie, Bulbul, Paari, NH10 and more under their belt.
Next on the list is KA productions founded by Padukone in 2018. They produced the 2020 film, Chhapaak which was based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor.
Twinkle Khanna is the co-owner of Hari Om Entertainment with her husband Akshay Kumar. The duo has produced films like Airlift, Holiday, Tees Maar Khan and many more. The production house also has two subsidiaries- Cape of Good Hope Films and Grazing Goat Films.
The actress-cum-activist Dia Mirza owns Born Free Entertainment which was founded way back in 2011. The first project of the production house was the Vidya Balan starrer Love Breakups Zindagi. The most recent project under its belt is an OTT show, Mind the Malhotras.
Dixit is the owner of RnM Moving Pictures. Her production house in collaboration with Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures, produced a Marathi film, Bucket List which starred Madhuri Dixit in the leading role.
Chitrangadha Singh’s production house, C.S. Films co-produced Soorma, their first film with Sony Network Pictures.
Tisca Chopra runs a production house named Fursat Films LLP which is famous for the 2016 short film, Chutney which saw Chopra in the lead role. She also co-wrote the film with Avneesh Mishra.
