This film has the most extended production of 20 years in the history of Bollywood. The span was so long that even the lead actor Guru Dutt and the director K. Asif died in 1971. To complete the film, Sanjeev Kapoor was selected to play the lead role in 1986.

The Kapoor Family has found a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as 24 people of this family are a part of the Bollywood industry. Starting from Prithviraj Kapoor (who came to the film industry in 1929), his sons Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, and Shashi Kapoor made an entry in the films. Later, Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor brought along their son and daughter, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, to this field.  

Yaadein 

Yaadein, directed by Sunil Dutt, had only one actor in the movie. In the last scene, only Nargis Dutt was featured as a shadow as the second actor. This film has the record of having only one actor as the cast.

This 2014 film was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest-grossing film of the Bollywood Industry. Having earned around Rs 792 crore at the box office, this Raj Kumar Hirani film was also released in the international arena.
