Heading towards the end of the first month of the year, Republic Day. One of the nation’s most important days approaches. As Indians, we love two days more than anything else. In India, we wear tricolor clothes and wave the Indian flag proudly. We sing patriotic songs and give tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom.
“Republic Day serves as a pleasant reminder of what a great country we live in and love,” says actor Swapnil Joshi on this special occasion. Unlike 15th August, Republic Day reminds us to comply with the laws and rules that were set in the new India. Such as secular laws that were specially designed for such a diverse country.”
Swapnil Joshi’s favorite childhood Republic Day memory involves playing a freedom fighter in school and chanting his slogans enthusiastically. “In the process of preparing for the role, I took the character way too seriously. I even felt like a national hero.”
