January 26 is the Indian National Holiday, and the parade takes place in New Delhi. The special day is one of the most sought-after and watched events of the year. Shama Sikander watched the parade on television every year and never missed it. The parade starts from Kartavya Path and ends at the India Gate. The President of India unfurls the flag at Kartavya Path on this day.

“Every year we used to gather around the television with snacks and drinks to watch the Republic Day Parade. I remember hoisting the flag, wearing white, and then watching the parade. I don’t think we ever missed a year.” Shama Sikander says.

The National Holiday is observed in India to commemorate the enactment of the Indian Constitution and the establishment of democracy.

Hi, this is your Filmee Boy! About me? Well, I am a "Bakchod" who performs way better than "Thugs of Hindustan" by firing "Andhadhun" words. I am the "Padman" who has always stood at "102 Not Out". Last time when you were being a "Fanney Khan" at one of your "Veere Di Wedding", I was ruling the "Baazaar" of Bollywood by singing "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga".
