Finally, the wait to see the trailer for Fatafati is over. Ritabhari Chakraborty plays the protagonist alongside Abir Chatterjee in the recently released teaser. The trailer shows different pages of a plus-sized lady and the challenges she encounters on a daily basis, such as body shame to gaining self-confidence.

When the teaser plays in full screen, we see Ritabhari Chakraborty, an aspiring fashion designer who wants to break into the industry, but her physical attributes prevent her from moving further. She also experiences constant difficulties with her body shape, which in effect damage her self-confidence and disrupt her life. The rest of the movie is about what occurs after she pieces herself back together. In order to fit into her role, Ritabhari put on 25 kg, and she once again took it to another level by portraying a plus-sized model.

The director of Fatafati is Aritra Mukherjee. Ritabhari Chakraborty will share screen time for the first time with Abir Chatterjee and Swastika Dutta, a well-known TV actress who plays a crucial part. Zinia Sen wrote the story and the screenplay, Samragnee Bandyopadhyay provided the dialogue and a Windows product. After Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti, Ritabhari’s second movie with Windows is Fatafati. The movie is scheduled to premiere on May 12, 2023.
