We all are die-hard fans of Bhai, aren’t we? And why wouldn’t we be? After all, he has given some incredible characters in the past few decades, along with some masala action. But that’s it! This hit and trial method of Bhai had to end. With the release of Dabangg 3 Movie, it has. Released on 20th December 2019, this film is a nostalgic journey of Chulbul Pandey that has been executed very recklessly.

Before we begin the Dabangg 3 Movie Review, let’s recall the good old days of the franchise for one last time. Undoubtedly, the movies in the past have been great. However, the Character of Chulbul had picked a very monotonous tone. Hence, the makers tried to bring in some more creativity, and that’s why Salam Khan took the matter directly into his hands. As a result, Dabangg 3 came out.

The Body Movie Review – The Love Triangle of The body, Killer, and Conspirator

The movie starts with the usual Dabangg entry of Bhai and this time he has taken it to a whole new level. He has now graduated to a freaking earth driller. Well, its okay, considering that masculinity of the Character. But what the hell is happening after that. Okay, we loved a bit of drama during the fight but what’s up with that family drama in the first 15 minutes. It looked as if Salman asked a child to write the movie script but then realized his mistake.

After all, that family drama enters the villain, and that’s where the film picks up by taking us into the good old days of Chulbul Pandey. Here, you will come to know why he became Chulbul and a bad-ass cop. This was a good thing in the movie, and our hopes were still there till the first half ended. That’s why we said this –

Dabangg 3 Movie Review – What We Liked About The Movie?

For starters, the charisma of Bhai had been maintained in the movie along with the hook step and its beloved title track.

The villain was pure evil. Honestly, it was by far the best one in the franchise.

The scene where Chulbul’s first love dies was very very good. Like the only best thing in the movie apart from the actin the climax scene.

The VFX work was excellent. For instance, the Chulbul in his young days looked perfect. So, lots of applaud to the VFX team here.

The part where Chulbul goes and puts her mother by mistake on a goods train was very good. It was funny, I mean. I salute the creative man behind it.

Dabangg 3 Movie Review – What We Didn’t Like About The Movie?

Apart from the first fucked up 15 minutes of the movie, the distorted execution was a major drawback. The sequence in which the whole story was planted killed the thrill and all the excitement went down the drain.

Okay, we did like how the young Chulbul wanted to do good things for the girl, but that’s it. There’s nothing more, but obviously, there could have been more than that.

Yes, there was action and some valid reasons to justify the scenes, but it was the most annoying way like the SP said, oh, your son is on a mission, he will return after taking care of the business. That’s cliche dude!

And man who wrote the dialogues this time. 80% of them were pathetic.

In the absence of Late Vinod Sir, his brother was taken to take over the role, but I suppose if his Character had died in the story, it would have done more justice. Not questioning Pramod Sir’s capability but its just like he somehow didn’t fit in the role.

During the Climax, Chulbul Pandey is busy beating the hell out of Bali Singh, but for the entire take, his wife and brother are hanging there up top which looked absurd. Either he should have rescued them first or at least somewhere in between the fight.

Dabangg 3 Movie Review – Final Thoughts

I loved the Chulbul Pandey character, but after seeing Dabangg 3 Movie, with a heavy heart, he has lost the charm. Now, the franchise should end but wait it looks like there might be a Dabangg 4 in the pipeline. So, no surprise on that!

Filmee Boy
Hi, this is your Filmee Boy! About me? Well, I am a "Bakchod" who performs way better than "Thugs of Hindustan" by firing "Andhadhun" words. I am the "Padman" who has always stood at "102 Not Out". Last time when you were being a "Fanney Khan" at one of your "Veere Di Wedding", I was ruling the "Baazaar" of Bollywood by singing "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga".
