Anubhav Sinha returns with yet another socially significant film titled ‘Bheed’. The film will hit the big screens on the 24th of March 2023 and is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha

He is known for shedding light on socially relevant topics through his cinema. After article 15 and Thappad, Anubhav Sinha’s next film, Bheed, promises to be a powerful commentary on modern society. Based on India’s lockdown of 2020, which is also the third year of the first nationwide lockdown. Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha are producing the movie, which stars Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Pankaj Kapur, Ashutosh Rana, and Dia Mirza.

“A film like Bheed reflects the contradictions and complexities of our time.,” says Anubhav Sinha, the film’s director. “I needed to bring this story to life and share it with the audience to shed light on the social disparity that the country faced in hard times.”

According to Bhushan Kumar, “Anubhav Sinha and I have been working together for a long time. This is our third joint project in 2023. Anubhav’s vision as a director is second to none, and Bheed will provide an insightful look at some of the tough times our country has faced in recent years.”

It features Rajkummar Rao, Dia Mirza, Pankaj Kapur, Bhumi Pednekar, Virendra Saxena, Ashutosh Rana, Aditya Shrivastav, Karan Pandit, and Kritika Kamra. Bheed is directed by Anubhav Sinha. Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks.
