The majority of the year will be occupied by Kapoor’s work on the Hindi-language remake of the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster Android Kunjappan Ver. 5.25 and the high-octane action feature Subedar.
Anil Kapoor had a successful start to 2023 thanks to his performances as Shailendra Rungta aka Shelly in The Night Manager, which is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, as well as a guest appearance in Jerremy Renner’s Disney series Rennervations and winning the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor award for Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The renowned performer recently announced that he will be next seen in the high-octane action movie Subhedar, which is produced by Abundantia Entertainment and directed by Suresh Triveni.

“I have done a lot of action films, but this is a pure action film, a dramatic action film,” said Anil Kapoor to Variety. I’m eager to do it. Currently, the plot is a secret. The first day of principal photography is September 15.

A father-son relationship and how it changes when an AI humanoid enters their lives are the subjects of the Hindi adaptation of the 2019 Malayalam smash, Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25, which Kapoor also stated he will play the lead in.

The action drama Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the aerial action movie Fighter, produced by Pathaan director Siddharth Anand and starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Kapoor, are now in production.

Kapoor is sought after for his contributions even at the age of 66. After appearing in more than 130 movies, the actor continues to challenge and outdo himself, demonstrating that age is but a number.
