The recent film ‘Uunchai,’ which was released on November 11, was directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya and produced by his company Rajshri Productions. It was made in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain’s company and Boundless Media.
Who doesn’t want to work with Sooraj R. Barjatya? Producer Mahaveer Jain recently opened up on his desire to collaborate with the director of ‘Vivah’ in their newest film, Uunchai.
“Sooraj ji has been a prominent name in the film industry for a long time. He has produced some incredible films that anyone can enjoy. Sooraj ji is known for his warmth, love and goodness, so I wanted to work with him because of those qualities.” He said. “I finally worked with him as a joint producer on Uunchai and it was an incredible and amazing experience to be close to him.”
“Uunchai is a special film.” the producer said. “We’ve seen three generations of families coming to watch the film from grandparents to grandchildren. The response has been great. Sooraj ji’s storytelling skills are truly heart-warming and have resonated with families across the country.”
Thanks to the incredible acting of Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta and Sarika and the compelling storyline of Uunchai, Sooraj R. Barjatya’s Rajshri Productions has completed 75 years as a film studio. With 60 different films released in Hindi during that time period, all have been wholesome family entertainment.
