A powerful trailer for Hansal Mehta’s upcoming movie Faraaz dropped on social media and it has become a talking point since then. People who look to films for hope as much as for escapism have been drawn to the film’s unflinching take on bigotry through the character Faraaz.

Today, the makers released Musafir Ko, the film’s first track. The song’s lyrics accompanied by a melancholy tune are sure to sear through your heart,“Musafir Ko ghar hi jaana hain. Let this song by @sameerrahat envelope you like a warm gentle breeze on a cold winter night. Proud to present this song from #Faraaz.
Releasing on February 3 at a cinema near you.

The song, composed and co- produced by Sameer Rahat, featuring Vidhya Gopal on vocals and Rahat on lyrics. There is a broader reality beyond the materialistic in the song that conveys the film’s theme succinctly.

The film is a week away from release, but judging from the reviews from those who have seen the special screenings, Faraaz appears poised for success. You feel intimately involved in the crisis because of the captivating visuals, which heighten the sense of claustrophobia.

Among others, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Neetu Kapoor praised for the film, especially the performances, and got emotional after watching it.

Hansal Mehta directs Faraaz, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Anubhav Sinha, Mazahir Mandsaurwala, Sahil Saigal, and Sakshi Bhatt. T-Series and Benaras Mediaworks, in association with Mahana Films, jointly produce the film. It will be released on February 3rd, 2023, and stars Zahan Kapoor, Juhi Babbar, Aditya Rawal, Aamir Ali, Pallak Lalwani, Sachin Lalwani, and Reshham Sahaani.

Hi, this is your Filmee Boy! About me? Well, I am a "Bakchod" who performs way better than "Thugs of Hindustan" by firing "Andhadhun" words. I am the "Padman" who has always stood at "102 Not Out". Last time when you were being a "Fanney Khan" at one of your "Veere Di Wedding", I was ruling the "Baazaar" of Bollywood by singing "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga".
