The internationally acclaimed British romantic comedy “What’s Love Got To Do With It” by filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has been a hot topic of conversation. It has already been released to a great reception in many countries and is set to hit Indian theatres on the 17th of March 2023. The movie has been included in several film festivals and has won numerous awards.

The release of “What’s Love Got To DO With It” in the UK on February 24 has been a huge success, earning nearly £3m, and viewers have described the film as feeling like “a big hug”. Director Shekhar Kapur attributes its success to the lack of similar films in recent times, as well as the lingering emotional impact of the COVID pandemic.

Shout! Studios has obtained the rights to the film for the United States and Canada, and plans to release it in late spring.

Kapur is widely regarded as one of the most talented storytellers on the planet. His impressive body of work, which has garnered him a number of prestigious awards such as the Filmfare, BAFTA Award, Padma Shri and more, features a number of iconic and remarkable films such as Bandit Queen,  Mr. India, and Elizabeth and  Four Feather.
