Written by Ashok Mishra and directed by Yashowardhan Mishra, Kathal debuts on Netflix on May 19, 2023. Shobha Kapoor, Achin Jain, Guneet Monga, and Ekta Kapoor are responsible for producing the movie under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Sikhya Entertainment. Mrs and Sam Bahadur are other upcoming projects for the actress. Kathal is Sanya and Guneet Monga’s second joint project following Pagglait.
