Runway 34 Review

After the unexpected success of The Kashmir Files came the mammoth victory of South movies like RRR & KGF Chapter 2. To give them competition, Ajay Devgn Films released a new thriller straight from the skies – Runway 34. This aviation drama is full of spine-chilling moments, convincing VFX work, and a powerful storyline.

Runway 34 Review: The story

The story of Runway 34 revolves around the struggle a captain faces after an incident occurs during the flight from Dubai to Cochin. Questions like what happened in the flight, what decisions were taken during the flight, and who was at fault arise while Amitabh Bachchan takes charge of finding the culprit.

What was great about the movie?

The fact that the whole movie did not miss any technicality (as per a common person’s understanding) makes this movie a whole lot enjoyable. The film does not waste any second in establishing the storyline. To keep you at the edge of your seat, the director, Ajay Devgn, has kept the movie’s first part in the airplane’s cockpit during the second part in the courtroom. Runway 34 does not let you miss any action or scene from what happened to why it happened.

Runway 34 Review: Acting

The entire cast of Runway 34 has given their best. First of all, it is foolish to question the gravity of acting when you are watching Ajay Devgan, Boman Irani & Amitabh Bachchan on screen. Next to them, Rakul Preet Singh has done such a marvelous job that you will realize what happens inside the cockpit is not a matter of feelings but calculations. So, overall, everybody aced in terms of acting.

Runway 34 Review: VFX Work

It is not common to find Bollywood movies have works matching the standards of Hollywood. However, Runway 34 tells an entirely different tale. Because not only does it maintain the standard throughout the film, but it also makes you go “OMG.” As an audience, this is what you yearn for in any movie. If you feel it, the entire crew has given their 100%.

Anything bad?

Usually, when we watch a movie, we intend to have a critic’s eye. But what to do when you are more into enjoying the film than finding out what’s wrong or bad. Yes, that is precisely what happened. We wanted to find anything terrible; however, we enjoyed every scene.

Hi, this is your Filmee Boy! About me? Well, I am a "Bakchod" who performs way better than "Thugs of Hindustan" by firing "Andhadhun" words. I am the "Padman" who has always stood at "102 Not Out". Last time when you were being a "Fanney Khan" at one of your "Veere Di Wedding", I was ruling the "Baazaar" of Bollywood by singing "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga".
