Pulkit Samrat recently visited Delhi and made the decision to do a food tour and visit some of his favorite restaurants from his youth in Ashok Vihar. The Fukhrey 3 actor called it a “Delhi-cious trip” and said that in addition to the cuisine, it was the city’s culture and history that made the stroll so special.
Here is Pulkit Samrat’s list of Delhi-recommended restaurants:
1. The best chole bhature (including stuffed bhature) and cold lassi in old Delhi may be found at Chacha Ke Chole Bhature in Kamla Nagar, one of the oldest hangouts for students and young professionals.
2. Al Nawaaz, Jamia Nagar: This is the spot if you wish to enjoy classic Mughlai delicacies in a relaxing and uncomplicated setting. Biryani, chicken barra, khamiri roti, and Afghani chicken are among the dishes to try.
3. Try the mix Amritsari kulcha thali and the paneer pyaaz Amritsari kulcha thali at Baljeet’s Amritsari Koolcha in Paschim Vihar, one of the few thali establishments.
4. Safdarjung Enclave’s Rajinder Da Dhaba is one of the city’s most well-known eateries and is responsible for popularizing dhaba cuisine. Some of the most popular foods served here include dahi kebab, chicken barra kebabs, butter chicken malai tikka, chicken curry, and lachcha paratha.
5. The tastiest kakori kebabs have been served at Alkauser in Chanakyapuri since it opened its doors in 1896. The mutton shahi qorma, murgh lababdar, and galouti kebabs are some of the other well-liked dishes, and there are now locations in several areas of Delhi.
