As she prepares for the April 28 release of her international series Citadel on Prime Video, Priyanka Chopra Jonas continues to receive love and adoration from the South Asian community all around the world. As they left for the series’ global premiere in London on April 18, the international celebrity and her husband Nick Jonas were pleasantly surprised by the crowd of fans waiting outside their hotel to see Chopra Jonas. Chopra Jonas, who is renowned for being very close to her fan base, even went behind the barricades to sign a few autographs and pose for pictures with her adoring followers who had been waiting for her for days.
After she arrived at the location of the global premiere, people started singing “Desi Girl.” The positive fan feedback, the general excitement for the show, and the high-octane action sequences performed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas left her co-stars Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, and producers David Weil, Anthony Russo, and Joe Russo speechless. Only PeeCee could have pulled this off. She is unstoppable. We love her,” gushed a fan of the star at the London premiere of the show. “Spy thrillers have traditionally been dominated by male actors, but for the first time we have a South Asian female actor leading the show and getting equal importance as her male counterpart in the narrative is a big deal.”
Along from receiving equal pay as her co-star Richard Madden for the first time while filming on the series, Chopra Jonas has also made headlines. I’ve spent 22 years working in the entertainment sector. I’ve worked on two TV shows and more than 70 films. For the first time in 22 years, I had pay parity with my male actor, she revealed on her promotional trip.
Hi, this is your Filmee Boy! About me? Well, I am a "Bakchod" who performs way better than "Thugs of Hindustan" by firing "Andhadhun" words. I am the "Padman" who has always stood at "102 Not Out". Last time when you were being a "Fanney Khan" at one of your "Veere Di Wedding", I was ruling the "Baazaar" of Bollywood by singing "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga".
