The most watched show of the week on SonyLiv is Preeti Jhangiani’s newest web series, Kafas, which is swiftly garnering popularity. The drama, which is set in Mumbai and centers on a middle-class family whose enrolled child is on the edge of stardom.
Providing information on her character, she says, “Tanya Bajaj is a very real character. She is a mother and will stop at nothing to keep her own son safe. Since I’m not frequently cast in characters like this, I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered the part. Tanya also has a darker side, which was exciting yet challenging for me to portray as an actor. Mukesh Chhabra, the casting director, and Sahil Sangha, the director, I believe, cast against what was expected.”
Preeti Jhangiani continues by discussing the difficulties she had while filming, “Throughout the scenes, I had to exercise a lot of self-control, and my director Sahil Sangha was a huge help in setting the correct mood.”
