Team Bheed recently organized a walkathon to demonstrate their support for the migrant workers who encountered extreme hardships during the lockdown.
Rajkummar Rao, the lead actor, initiated an event in Kolkata to commemorate migrant and frontline workers. Individuals from all backgrounds participated in the walkathon and formed the BHEED logo, creating a moment that was both special and moving.
Rajkummar Rao expressed his joy and gratitude for the overwhelming response to the walkathon, saying, “The response was more than I could have imagined. It was so gratifying to see people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds walking with pride. I’m truly thankful for the response. Bheed is a film that portrays the hardships everyone went through and how we all came together in unity to help each other out.”
Benaras Media Works presents Anubhav Sinha’s directorial Bheed, featuring a remarkable cast of Rajkummar Rao, Dia Mirza , Bhumi Pednekar, Pankaj Kapur, and Ashutosh Rana, alongside Virendra Saxena, Karan Pandit, Kritika Kamra, and Aditya Shrivastava. The movie will be released in theaters on March 24, 2023.
