A debate arises concerning all possible actions of the female protagonist with the newly found wealth. It signs upon the political, cultural, and sociology barriers that obstruct proper conservation and maintenance of the environment that often prevents experts like Vidya Balan’s character from performing their tasks. The film also highlights the importance of the portrayal of women as the protagonist, with the underlined message of women influencing the narrative and society itself. The film is a reenactment of one of the most rememberable and heroic moments in Indian history. It pivots towards the life of Captain Vikram Batra (portrayed by Siddharth Malhotra), who selflessly sacrificed himself during the Kargil war between India and Pakistan.

The film discusses the magnitude of deep-rooted patriotism in India and provides the viewers with historical nationalism. The film is situated post the Jallianwala Bagh Incident that resulted in the mutiny of numerous lives. The film ponders the life of Sardar Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter seeking revenge for his Sikh community and liberation for future generations.

Sardar Udham Singh was also responsible for the assassination of Micheal O’Dwyer, who was responsible for the said mutiny. This film touches every Indian as the emotional wounds of that incident are still painful to visualize. It mixes patriotism with suspense and mystery to evoke more tension. Aadhaar

This film is unexpectedly impactful to the public of India and one of the best motivational Bollywood movies. The production talks about the initial implementation of the government Aadhaar program that provides all Indian citizens with a Unique Identification Card and Number.

This movie uses the common practice of the Aadhar Card to ironically comment on the misidentification of the middle and lower class in India plus the identification of India as a country. The film presents us with the leading character called Pharsua, who acts as the moral compass of the plot. This production isn’t your traditional film with a linear narrative. This film showcases four different short films: Geeli Pucchi, Ankahi, Majnu, and Khilauna. One of the stories discusses the restricted openness or liberal attitude towards female homosexuality in Indian society. Contrasting to that is a story revolving around a modern married couple struggling with their marriage and raising a mute daughter.

Another story is the traditional love triangle narrative. The final story portrays a single, middle-class mother seeking money for her daughter’s education at any cost and her secret admirer. So, if you like watching numerous short films, you might like Ajeeb Dastaans available only on Netflix.

The plot develops discovering Rashmi as a sex change individual during an unauthorized gender testing. This news instantly destroys Rashmi’s career and personal life.
