Luv Sinha is more than just an actor; in addition to appearing in movies like Paltan and Gadar 2, he will also be appearing in the upcoming web series Gangster. His work goes beyond the realms of the entertainment industry as he is both an entrepreneur and actively involved in politics in Patna. Luv Sinha previously attended the inauguration of a massive mural created by Shabbu for Sinha’s own art company, House of Creativity.
The mural focuses on the distinctive features of Malad and emphasizes how important and connected it is to Mumbai, as Luv Sinha and his curatorial adviser Abhinit Khanna intended.
Talking about the inauguration, Luv Sinha said, “There is more to this mural than just art. It showcases Malad’s neighborhood, culture, and history. We are all inspired by it and are reminded of our rich history.”
As the first location for the revolutionary Bombay Talkies Studios, founded in 1934 by Himanshu Rai and Devika Rani, the region played a crucial role in the economic and cultural force of the time’s most modern film studio, with state-of-the-art equipment from Germany. We selected the muralist Akhlaq Ahmad, often known as Shabbu in the art world, to honor Devika Rani and her legacy.
The 24,000-foot painting features famous locations including the BMC HQ, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Bombay Stock Exchange, local flora and fauna, and of course the spirit of the Koli community in Malad.
