Kavya Thapar will be appearing in her next project ‘CAT’ on Netflix, in which she will be starring alongside actor Randeep Hooda. Thapar plays an intense yet suspicious role in this revenge drama about an undercover spy. As a crime thriller set in Punjab, “CAT” is portrayed as an innocent man who gets swept up in a drug-trafficking conspiracy between gang lords, cops, and political figures.
“I’m excited that CAT will be released on Netflix because it’s the best OTT platform and guarantees great exposure. It was also enlightening working alongside such a great actor Randeep Hooda. I learned quite a few things regarding his discipline on shoots and lifestyle, as well as how he approached characters, which I will certainly use in the future. Also, I would like to thank the director and all those who made it possible.”
Having made her Bollywood debut in Middle-Class Love, Kavya Thapar has starred in Telugu and Tamil movies such as Ee Maya Peremito and MarketRaja MBBs, where she has done an excellent job portraying many different characters. With Middle-Class Love, she received a huge response from her audience and is well on her way to success in Bollywood.
In association with Jelly Bean Entertainment, Movie Tunnel Productions produces CAT, written by Janjua and Chahal with Jimmy Singh and Anil Rodhan.
