Fitness plays a hugely significant role in our daily life. Maintaining your fitness is especially important in the modern world as everyone is preoccupied with the hustle and bustle of city life. Vijay Thakkar is one such person who has consistently served as a flagbearer for the same. Hrithik Roshan and Vijay Thakkar have bonded wonderfully over the years, and in this context, share a common ‘love interest’ in fitness. Vijay Thakkar has played a crucial role in bringing fitness to the community and directing them in the right direction towards this form of art. Hrithik Roshan, on the other hand, is regarded as the country’s quintessential fitness icon who has literally inspired the entire generation towards fitness. Every time Hrithik and Vijay get together, their interactions are filled with laughter and enriching discussions about fitness. It was essentially the same when the two met again this time.
For those who don’t know, Vijay Thakkar is a well-known expert in functional medicine as well as a young, energetic businessman whose heart and soul are in fitness. Back in 2013, when he first introduced 48 Fitness, his brand had already become extremely popular in the fitness industry. His company’s fitness clubs, which provide particularly personalized services and wellness standards to fitness enthusiasts in Mumbai, are among the most celebrated in all of India. He has written and contributed to fitness sections for prestigious publications like Forbes, Times Of India, Hindustan Times, Indian Express, and Femina. It was only fitting that Hrithik Roshan wrote the foreword to his most recent book, “Eating Less Is Making You Fat,” given the kind of equation both of them share. In the book, the following is an excerpt from his foreword in the book:
“There are more than eight billion of us in the world, but every one of us is incredibly unique in terms of both our personalities and the ways in which our bodies work. Before reading Vijay’s book, where he describes science in the most understandable way, I truly believed that “body banana koi asaan kaam nahin hai”—what I now refer to as the trick and the truth of being fit. I’ve personally always tried to give my all to fitness. From a professional standpoint, I’ve always lived by the idea of taking a difficult path to unlock my full inner potential.”
For me, being physically fit is not only necessary for my job but also for my very existence. It has been essential to my work for more than 20 years, starting with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai to Vikram Vedha and beyond, the journey. Being an action hero requires constant alertness; the work is both difficult and demanding. For some of my roles, being at the peak of a body type is required; this necessitates extensive preparation, but the basis must always be prepared. Nothing but the highest level of physical, mental, and/or cardiovascular fitness may be considered the base. Any profession, in my opinion, needs this. All you need to do is maintain the base prepared so you can enjoy your life and your family time.”
The foreword is incredibly motivating, and Vijay is greatly appreciative of the encouragement from an industry veteran like Hrithik Roshan. Vijay is now even more motivated to produce high-quality work in the fitness section.
Hi, this is your Filmee Boy! About me? Well, I am a "Bakchod" who performs way better than "Thugs of Hindustan" by firing "Andhadhun" words. I am the "Padman" who has always stood at "102 Not Out". Last time when you were being a "Fanney Khan" at one of your "Veere Di Wedding", I was ruling the "Baazaar" of Bollywood by singing "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga".
