Gaurav Chopra is currently the talk of the town for all the right reasons. Whether it’s good roles as an actor or numerous award honors for his recent projects, he’s been granted all of it. The success of Rana Naidu, Bachchhan Paandey, and Gadar 2 has made it a hat-trick of hits for Gaurav, and now the audience is demanding more. November 3, 2023, is the release date for his next movie, Lakeerein, so the wait is almost over.
Indeed, that’s true, ladies and gentlemen. Save the date! The movie ‘Lakeerein’ will hit theaters on November 3, 2023, and the trailer will be launched in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on October 19. What sets the trailer release apart is the fact that Mrs. Anandiben Patel, the Honourable Governor of Uttar Pradesh, will launch it.
Gaurav Chopra shares his thoughts on his upcoming movie, “If you’re an actor, Lakeerein is the type of project you want to be involved in – a good and intense story-driven one. The movie deals with the issue of marital rape and should be seen by a wide audience. Although acting itself is creatively fulfilling, there are specific projects that make you proud to be associated with them. This project is one of those that deserves to be shared with the nation, and I’m glad to be involved. I hope the film influences the traditional Indian mindset positively and helps people understand the significance of consent. The Governor’s support and participation in the trailer launch highlight the social relevance of this movie. I am thankful for her support, and I hope my audience finds my performance enjoyable.”
Gaurav Chopra has set a high bar as an actor with a series of successful projects. Following his roles as a superstar in Rana Naidu and a vintage army officer in Gadar 2, he is now ready to take on the part of a professor-poet in this movie. Gaurav Chopra has definitely established a new level of versatility with his last few projects, and it’s no surprise that the audience is excited to see what is in store after Gadar 2. Contrary to expectations, instead of doing a mainstream commercial movie after Gadar 2, he’s once again set to surprise everyone by choosing a socially-relevant film for a niche audience. His character is poised to be complex, and it’s no surprise Gaurav is street-smart in selecting projects. There’s a strong chance he’ll win awards for his performance in this movie, incredibly, since he’s already been honored for Rana Naidu & Gadar 2.
