There is no doubt that Tanishaa Mukerji’s new project is soon to release! She is back in action with a short film that is filled with meaning and value. The film will premiere at the Amity International Film Festival on the 16th of February. She talks about the endearing character in the movie.
As a result of being raised in a graveyard by a man who works there, the girl becomes immune to death as she is constantly exposed to corpses. Death becomes a part of her daily life & she is unfazed by the concept of death. Her father’s sudden death shakes her out of her stance and realizes the value of life for the first time.
According to Tanishaa Mukerji, “Agni-Daah is an issue of abandoned girls, which happens not just in this country. It takes up the narrative of the women who disconnect emotionally because of all the trauma and how their emotions are awakened. She describes her relationship with death and her disconnect from it due to work at the crematorium. She only understands the connection with death after losing the man who cares for her.”
According to Tanishaa, “This is a conversation about a lot of social issues and problems that affect girls.”
Tanishaa has been offered several meaningful projects, and she prioritizes quality content. In this short film, we see her in a completely unglamorous look.
