Standing up for what is right, putting their lives and reputation at risk, questioning when something is wrong, and carrying the torch for justice is rare. Among those brave souls is Bollywood’s Elnaaz Norouzi, an actress, model, singer, activist and, most importantly, the voice for oppressed women who lack basic freedoms. Recently, the actress received the Indian Fashion Industry’s Ambassador for Change Award for contributing to the fight for equality and freedom for Iranian women.

Elnaaz made waves a few weeks ago with a video in which she adopted different clothing styles, ranging from a head-to-toe covered one to almost nothing, stating that any type is acceptable. The bold and impactful Elnaaz Norouzi posted on social media that day promoting women’s freedom of choice had broken the internet!
