Hariharan expressed his admiration for Sadhana, saying that it was an amazing experience recording with her. He elaborated that the melody of the song was both romantic and captivating. Upon hearing the initial version of ‘Dooriyan’, he felt immensely blessed and immediately consented to take part in it. According to him, Sadhana’s singing was ideal for the track as her classical training enables her to effectively adapt to any genre.
Sadhana Jejurikar has accomplished multiple successes in her career as a Ghazal singer, with her recent being the well-received album DUAA (featuring Maestro Ghulam Ali Khan). In addition, she is a co-author of the biographical book ‘Ghazal Wizard – Ghulam Ali’, published by Times Publication. Since 1992, Sadhana has been rendering her Ghazal talent on AIR, Indore. In 1996, she took part in the musical TV show Sa Re Ga Ma. She has performed on stage in India and overseas with various other artists.
Sadhana has been honored twice with the Madhya Pradesh Government’s Lata Mangeshkar District Award and has been singing on All India Radio since 1994. Additionally, in 2014, she was presented with the Vikram Award in her hometown. She has performed in numerous places across India and overseas with various singers. She has also lent her voice to various movies & music albums in various languages.
