As their first venture into Marathi cinema, Aatmapamphlet, traveled globally to be screened at the Berlin Film Festival, Aanand L Rai & Colour Yellow productions made headlines. In the same way that Bollywood & Tollywood have made us proud of our country, regional cinema is setting the trend by delivering the best stories. Colour Yellow Productions and Chalchitra Mandalee present Jhimma 2, the sequel to one of the highest grossing Marathi films of 2021.

Aanand L Rai says, “We are delighted to be doing another Marathi film. Our first part was a huge hit & one of the top grossers of 2021. We decided to support Chalchitra Mandalee in bringing you Jhimma 2, as it has a strong message that resonated well with viewers. It is my pleasure to be working with Hemant & Kshitee.”

It was a passion project for Hemant Dhome to direct Jhimma. As a result of the way it was received by the audience, the second part is sure to be even better & bigger. Our team is sure to deliver another promising project with personalities like Aanand L Rai.

In Jhimma, seven women from different socio-cultural backgrounds and age groups come together to celebrate life.
This teaser video, created by Colour Yellow Production and Chalchitra Mandalee, is a recreation of one of the most popular scenes from Jhimma. The video promises new characters, happiness, and quirkiness.

The film is directed by Hemant Dhome. Produced by Aanand L Rai, and Kshitee Jog. Written by Irawati Karnik and co-produced by Viraj Gawas, Ajinkya Dhamal, and Urfi Kazmi.
