One of Sushant Singh Rajput’s most iconic movies, Kedarnath, directed by Abhishek Kapoor, turns four today. The movie that made Sara Ali Khan into a star quickly became a success when it was released, and many people still revisit the songs from it. This movie was also very special as it featured one of Sushant Singh Rajput’s most beloved characters, Mansoor. People still recall his performance in Kedarnath when they think of the actor.
Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor shared memories of the production, saying, “The film itself was an adventure from start to finish. When we were conceiving the idea, we knew it’d be tough but seeing it now makes me proud. I am so grateful that we are here and I get the chance to work with Sushant again. It’s one of his finest performances.”
The movie was very well received by the audience, who were moved by the story and felt like they, too, had done the yatra along with the characters in the film. While the movie went on to touch hearts all across the country and internationally, filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor gave us another brilliant hit with Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. He is currently working on a couple of equally original projects and is still venturing into uncharted waters.
