Bijay Anand, an actor and yoga instructor, has accomplished what many city inhabitants can only imagine. To live a tranquil and gentler life, he has relocated to his farmhouse/healing center from the hubbub and bustle of city life.
Bijay Anand has now chosen this life so that he can have bliss every day, while others of us fight to take a weekend off and spend some time in nature, surrounded by birds, butterflies, and trees.

Bijay Anand declares, “I am fortunate.” “There was a point in my life when I didn’t see why I should move into the city only to be near my friends and family. In any case, I don’t go out much or party. I prefer to dine at home and am really concerned about Mumbai’s pollution levels. Not to mention the noise and traffic congestion. I made the decision to simply move.
Bijay is well-known for his outstanding performance in the Kajol and Ajay Devgn blockbuster Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha. He will next be seen in Vidyut Jamwal’s IB71 and Om Raut’s Adipurush. He was praised for his outstanding work in Shershah and also gained a great deal of support from the general population for his deft portrayal of King Janak in Siya Ke Ram.

Bijay laughs as he describes the activities that keep him occupied at his farm. “My wife complains that when I travel to any country in the world, be it Barcelona, London, or Mexico, I call her 15-20 times a day, but when I am at the farm, I hardly call her once or twice in the entire day,” he says. I get up at 4.30 in the morning, practice yoga, go on a walk, return back, eat breakfast, and then take care of the farm’s and my garden’s morning tasks before going to the gym or swimming. I adore the clean air and the connection I have with nature there, and the day just flies by.
“Life is much more than flashy vehicles, opulent homes, and big bank accounts when we realize that we are in a rat race in which we lose even if we win.,” he concludes with a philosophical note. Life is about enjoying each moment as it occurs and appreciating the gift of each breath that our beautiful Mother Nature has given to us. “Amen” to that, we say.
