Preeti Jhangiani, who will return to the big screen in Mahapaur, was spotted filming in Lucknow City. In addition to Preeti playing the Mayor, Ragini Kashyap, Pankhudi Gidwani, Dr Anil Rastogi, and Yajuvendra Pratap Singh will also play important roles in the film, directed by Avinash Gupta. The film is produced by Priroda productions and Varchasv Motion Pictures.
“This role will show me a very different side of me.” Preeti Jhangiani says about her role. It’s a role with a lot of grey shades, so I’m already working hard to perfect the accent and attitude of the character. We’re currently shooting in Lucknow, and it’s turning out to be an unforgettable experience!”
As the film depicts, the Mayor plays a vital role in the development of a city. Along with bureaucrats and corporators, the Mayor should work towards keeping the city clean and beautiful. But does Ragini Kashyap follow the right path? In combination with corporators on her side, she creates havoc and turns the city into a nightmare.” says Preeti.
Environmental issues are entwined with bureaucracy and politics in Mahapaur. Preeti Jhangiani has always been loved and appreciated, so it will be exciting to see how she tackles such a challenging role.
