Although Mukherjee repeats her role as Babli, Bunty is played by Saif Ali Khan rather than Amitabh Bachchan. They’ve been living a retired life after giving up their con games. Bunty and Babli’s history appears to be under threat from a new con artist pair in town. The two cunning duos go head-to-head. Despite some shine from the younger Bunty and Babli combination (Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh), the sequel falls short of the show’s magic.
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui
Slowly but slowly, Hindi films are beginning to tell stories about the LGBTQ+ community, which might be seen as a step toward inclusiveness. Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui may be one of such phases, notwithstanding its shortcomings. Manu (Ayushmann Khurrana) is a vast gym owner with a posse of gym rats and a restraining family. A Zumba teacher named Manvi (Vaani Kapoor) arrives at his gym and into his life one day. Manvi, on the other side, is a sex reassignment surgery survivor.

Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi and Pagglait
Pagglait was launched two months after Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi. The story of both films is quite similar to one another. The meeting of the family to grieve the loss of a loved one is a recurring theme in both films. It’s the father of a family in Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, whereas the young son in Pagglait. Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi is an ensemble piece that relies on a large cast of talented character performers.
Seema Pahwa, a theatre, TV, and cinema veteran renowned for her roles in recent films such as Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Bareilly Ki Barfi, makes her directorial debut. Pagglait, on the other hand, is fixated by the young widow.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has been described as a black comedy, typical for Dibakar Banerjee. As evidenced by their names, Pinky, a police officer temporarily relieved of duty, is played by Arjun Kapoor. Rohit Shetty has perfected his car chases, and cop drama formula in his earlier flicks Singham and Simmba. Aziz is a former small-time mobster converted boxer with aspirations to rise through the sport’s levels. To do so, he’ll have to practice with Narayan Prabhu (Paresh Rawal), popularly known as Nana.
Nana doesn’t like Aziz romancing his daughter Ananya since Aziz is Muslim and Nana is Hindu, and the film is set in contemporary India. If you want to see a current boxing film that throws a few punches, Sarpatta Parambarai, a Tamil period drama that tackles caste problems while providing some stunning acts, is a better alternative.
