It was a usual day which turned out to be exciting when Rajkummar Rao announced the release date of his upcoming Bollywood new movie, stree on Twitter. This latest Bollywood movie of his also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi. The movie is teaser looks quite promising in the horror comedy genre as we find a woman looking at the release date of the movie printed on a wall. Due for release on August 31, this movie will break the ice for the audience.
In the sneak peek shared by Rao from Stree, we see a deserted town with no one but a voice. The camera is found to be roaming in through the bylanes and there is one thing written on every wall, “O Stree, kal aana” (Stree, come tomorrow). This message is finally unveiled by a woman who seems to be the ghost in the movie. The message of this latest Bollywood new movie 2018 is written in red. Also, we heard a voice-over saying “Yahan koi mard nahi” (There is no man here) in a very peculiar manner. Finally, the end of this clip has a woman which we quoted earlier in a spirit like figure who is levitating. This Bollywood movie 2018 which will be released in August 2018 is based on a true phenomenon which is termed as “ridiculously”.
It seems that the horror comedy genre in Bollywood sees a new lease of life post last year’s Golmaal Again that starred Arshad Warsi, Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra among others. This Rohit Shetty film had the audience laughing out loud while making the former a fortune of over Rs 200 crore at the box office.

Stree, the new movie 2018 is directed by Amar Kaushik and is written by Raj and D.K. The Trio last worked together for the films like Go Goa Gone, Shor in the City, Happy Ending, and A Gentleman.

Stree hits screens on August 31, 2018.
