Thappad Movie Review
“Aurto ko thoda audjust kr k chalna chahiye”
“Thoda sehna seekho”
These two sentences may portray two different emotions, depending on the situation. But aren’t they conveying the wrong message? Yes, they are! And this is what Thappad starring Taapsee Pannu speaks in length and hits the right edge in every scene.
With our Thappad movie review, we are going to give this movie a standing ovation but through a critics eye. Hovering over a normal life of a regular Indian family, the film revolves around giving these above-said sentences a real tight slap that they deserve.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Movie Review – Gay Couple You Will Fall In Love With, Is Here!
The movie commences with Taapsee aka Amrita taking care of her family as every other Indian woman does. Things are going good and healthy until one day; her husband slaps her in front of everyone. Why, when and where it happens is not essential but the fact that he slapped her which he must not have done. The movie picks a good pace and intensity from there and what follows is why you should watch Thappad.

IT is immoral!
Who is ‘IT’?
IT is a #Thappad

More yet to witness
More things to come in outcome!

Thappad Movie Review – Great Things About The Movie
The topic was important and it demanded such a strong movie.
Taapsee – as usual – has now become an epitome of such intense movies. With her in Pink and Mulk, the girl now seems to rule over the genre.
And boy oh boy, her delivery of emotions without uttering a single word is something rare and not witnessed usually.
Anubhav Sinhasir’s direction has taken this movie to a new slot of thinking. With showcasing this domestic violence in every age group and every class, the film will strike your nerves at the right moment.
The transformation was incredible, like how she couldn’t believe what had happened to her and what she will do after this.

The casting was done correctly with everyone being placed perfectly in the movie. And seeing Dia Mirza after such a long time on screen was a delight. Her acting has always given us good vibes and she playing the role of a single woman was a perfect add-on.
Special mention of the scene where Taapsee is talking to her Mother-In-Law as it describes the true meaning of what happens with Indian bahus and how good they are.
The ups and downs shown in everyone’s family are commendable as well as relatable.
Thappad Movie Review – What We Said When The Movie Ended?
Slow & steady not always wins the race!#Thappad though speaks on relevant topic, builds up on it perfectly yet has a tad-bit less intensity in the end!@taapsee acting stays unquestionable, however, she should step out this zone now for a while!

Thappad Movie Review – Why We Rated It 3 Stars?
The movie was a bit slow from the beginning. By the first half, it was established that what had happened to her was not correct, and now the movie should movie fast.
Even though the transformation of Amrita was right, however, it took more time than one would expect.
The monotonous life shown in the first half was shown more than enough. Two repetitions were enough because by that time everyone has understood it.
Although the climax was reasonable and sensible, it somehow felt that the movie ended at cold feet. Yes, the realization by Ammu’s husband was good, but it should have come a bit earlier.
Also, he took too much time to say “Sorry” but then again half of the Indian males never reach that level quickly, and that’s where the problem lies. We think his realization should have been slightly more powerful.
Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship Movie Review – Chilling Yet Falls In The End
The storyline could have a few more turns to have a little more grip over the audience.
The build-up was right in the movie, but it lacked a great conclusion (here, does not refer to the climax).
We hate ourselves for giving this movie a three-star, but then again we can’t ignore what we didn’t like just like what we didn’t ignore all the things that we liked.
