When you see a movie trailer that shows this has got the desi feel in it, you are automatically inclined towards it. Jai Mummy Di Movie trailer showed that feeling, even gave it but somehow our bones weren’t tickled to the level of expectations. In this Jai Mummy Di Movie Review, we are going to talk about what went wrong and what went great!
Starring Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall, this latest Bollywood movie had the debutant Navjot Gulati and legendary actors like Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon. Honestly, the casting team did a good job of putting great actors together, but something was missing. Let’s find out what was missing!

Jai Mummy Di Movie Review: What was good about the movie?

The film starts with two families taking a dig at each other. From parents to children to relatives, everyone is trying to insult their respective opponent. The overall idea was to create mayhem and create laughter. A few of the scenes did have it, but it was like nothing new. It was like yeah okay, just okay!

Dabangg 3 Movie Review – The Only Failed Installment Of The Franchise

So, when the families are fighting over each other, the lead pair of the movie is already in love but aren’t able to express it because of “Maa Ka Dar”! They love birds were going lovy-dovy when the elephant in the room is poked – the MARRIAGE. Now what appeared to be a love story turned into a marriage war.

The way love is portrayed in the movie is good as it gives you a perfect picture of how love happens these days. But the repeating that old “Pyar Ka Punchnama” theme somewhere destroys the excitement.

The only thing that keeps you stay in your seat is why the hell both these mummies fighting and why are they even fighting. Brace yourself because the answer is perfectly placed in the end. Thanks to Varun Sharma, through his acting skills, gives you a pretty good closure. Ah, that was it! There’s nothing more good in the movie.

Jai Mummy Di Movie Review: What was bad about the movie?

Coming to all the bad things, let’s point them.

First things first, why the hell is Sunny Singh not doing any experiment or adding more versatility to his acting. Every time you see him in a movie, it’s like the character is either being picked upon by the female lead or he is giving that “Iska to phir kat gaya” feeling. Dude, you should come out of that Pyar Ka Punchnama zone!

Laughter! Where was it except for a few, where the bloody hell was it? Period!

Even though you may say that it has less bad points, you won’t enjoy the movie that much because of the above two statements. Let us know if you feel otherwise.

Have something to say, don’t you stay there, move your fingers and comment now.

Hi, this is your Filmee Boy! About me? Well, I am a "Bakchod" who performs way better than "Thugs of Hindustan" by firing "Andhadhun" words. I am the "Padman" who has always stood at "102 Not Out". Last time when you were being a "Fanney Khan" at one of your "Veere Di Wedding", I was ruling the "Baazaar" of Bollywood by singing "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga".
