Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare Review

The women’s fight is not a struggle that began in the 21st century but a revolution that started centuries ago. From getting equal rights and pay to smash the patriarchy, this has been an ongoing race. And Bollywood has been an advocate of presenting it to the naked eyes of society.

Sadak 2 Review: A Road Trip On Flat Tyres!

Netflix has always been the flagship OTT platform that proudly streams some of the best “out of the box” movies. In this Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare Review, I will be unfolding why watching this movie is an eye-opening experience. The film starts with two cousin sisters having a gala time at a fare, but it turns out that Kajal has been holding a dark truth about her Jiju, Dolly’s husband.
Relax! I won’t be buzzing around with any spoilers.

Shakuntala Devi Review – This Human Computer is Unstoppable, Hilarious & Invincible

From there, Kajal decides that she will take control of her life and move out of her sister’s flat. With everything Greater Noida, a suburb near New Delhi, has to offer, Kajal remains positive, but her life isn’t. On Dolly’s part, it is just the beginning of the “self-realization” point.
As the movie progresses, Kajal has found a new job and moved out of her sister’s flat while Dolly discovers a new interest in her life – Osmaan Ansari.

This is where the movie is walking at a slow pace but drifts when it is about to reach the end. Now, Dolly finds out that her sister is working at a place that society has not yet accepted. Therefore, she reaches out to confront Kajal. However, with all that Kajal has found with this new job, she strikes back and questions Dolly didi’s life choices.

Class of 83 Review: Miss This Class & Save Your Time!

In this whole turmoil, Dolly finds out that her own child is more into dolls than male things or activities. This even pressurizes her more to question herself, and thus, she finds the much-needed support from Osmaan. This is where one thing leads to another, and Dolly discovers that her married life wasn’t screwed this whole time because of her but her husband, Amit. In the meantime, even Kajal has made a discovery about her so-called “new found love.”

Gulabo Sitabo Movie Review – A Fun Watch During COVID-19 Pandemic

By the end, things have accelerates from zero to hundred very quickly during an event meant to show support towards empowering women. And that’s where you will have your “eye-opening” experience. Although the movie has a few scenes that a large part of society would consider inappropriate to watch, I would still advise you to watch it.

Gunjan Saxena Movie Review: Inspiring The Women Forever

In my Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare review, I haven’t included the best or the worst point for one reason – this movie speaks at great length about a topic that our society refrains itself from talking. Ergo, watch this awesome flick for its subject and the outstanding cast.

There is no doubt about acting as every actor in this film has passed with flying colors. Finally, a big shout out to Konkona and Bhumi for yet again being the flag bearer of “women empowerment” and raising the bar high. Oh, wait! Did I miss calling out the “amazing Amol” for his remarkable performance!

Hi, this is your Filmee Boy! About me? Well, I am a "Bakchod" who performs way better than "Thugs of Hindustan" by firing "Andhadhun" words. I am the "Padman" who has always stood at "102 Not Out". Last time when you were being a "Fanney Khan" at one of your "Veere Di Wedding", I was ruling the "Baazaar" of Bollywood by singing "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga".
